A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Valley Presbyterian Church on West Line Street in Bishop for Ygnacio Fimbres. Funeral Services were held in Minot, N.D.
Born Jan. 24, 1944 in Bishop, Ygnacio died April 20, 2011 in Minot. He was 67.
Ygnacio was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved his family.
“He will forever be in our hearts,” the family said.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ygnacio and Mabel Fimbres; son, Jay; daughter, Glenda; and sisters, Dorothy Richards, Beulah Fimbres and Amelia Cyrus.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Bonita “Bunny”; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis Fimbres of Mandree, N.D., Brian and Elizabeth Fimbres of Nebraska and Robert and Tanya Fimbres of New Town, N.D.; 13 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother, Bob Fimbres; sisters, Malinda Ridley, Frances Fimbres and Kathleen Delgado, all of Bishop; and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
