Lady Broncos drop final home game to KV

The Bishop Lady Broncos softball team lost a tough game, 0-8, to the Kern Valley Lady Broncs Friday.
“You have to score to win,” said coach Stacy Van Nest. “Unfortunately, we couldn’t get past second base.”
Pitcher Megan Erwin, while on the mound, got hit hard by the ball in the fourth inning, but finished the game.
The Broncos fall to 3-5 in High Desert League, 9-10 overall.
The final two league games are on the road, at Rosamond today and Desert Thursday.
The Rosamond Lady Roadrunners are currently 6-2 in league and are coming off a 11-4 win over Frazier Mountain last Thursday, May 5, and a win and a loss in tournament play Saturday.
The first match-up with Desert ended in a 6-1 loss with the Broncos recording too many errors. The Lady Scorpions hold a 3-5 league record, as of today.
