Golden Eagles 65 vs Boron Bobcats 73
The Eagles were just a point behind going into the fourth quarter. Lone Pine pulled ahead by 4 points, but the Bobcats rebounded to take the win.
“It was one heck of a game,” said coach Scott Kemp.

Lady Golden Eagles 57 vs. Lady Bobcats 31
Coach Sonny Lindsey claimed his team was in a bit of disarray, but they still managed to seriously out score the Boron Bobcats last Tuesday.
“Nicole Tweedy played a superwoman game,” Lindsey said. “Brittany has been quietly doing a great job. We’re going to be pretty good for the play-offs.”

BIG PINE
Big Pine Warriors 30 vs Baker Braves 53
The Warriors broke their winning steak, coming up against a tough Baker team Friday.
“We didn’t play to our ability,” said coach Darrin Chirrick. “We were sloppy, our turnovers hurt us.”
But, Chirrick sees improvement from the free throw line.
The game at Baker was the third match for Big Pine in four days with a make-up game at Lee Vining tossed into the schedule Wednesday.

Lady Warriors 50 vs Lady Braves 41
The Lady Warriors bounced back from Wednesday’s loss to Lee Vining, beating the Boron Lady Braves by 9 points.
Marissa Lemus had her fifth double/double of the year. Sophomore Alicia Peterson had her best game of the year with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
“Our offense clicked in all four quarters,” said coach Dave Mettam, “and our defense held Baker to single-digit points in the second and fourth quarters. This was a good road victory for us.”
