Connor Hartwell Howell
2008-2008
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 20 at Ken and Marcia Howell’s residence at 800 Birch Creek Rd., Big Pine, for Connor Hartwell Howell. Dan Dayo will officiate.
Born in Bishop on Jan. 27, 2008, Connor died at 6:30 a.m. April 13, 2008 at Northern Inyo Hospital. He was 11 weeks old.
Connor is survived by his parents, Dylan Howell and Clarissa Branch of Big Pine; grandparents, Connie Maehler-Branch, Ken and Marcia Howell and Mike and Debbie Mason of Big Pine; uncles, Scott Howell, Brian Maehler and Quanah and Mikie Mason; aunts, Brenda Duke, Jolene Sonner, Jessica Howell and Emerald Mason; great-grandfather, Len Branch; great-grandmothers, Joyce Howell, Shirley Davis and Patricha Mason; great-aunts, Laurie Roberts, Heather Pat, Dorothy Nelson, Tammy Lewis, Dannel Branch, Peggy Assig and Pamela Payne; great-uncles, Jim Powell, Doug Branch, Ricky Branch and Max Payne; and cousins, Al and Everett Patterson, Andy and Tawnie Warye, Hailey and Josh, Ashley, Alise and Chris and extended family.
James ‘Jim’ Keyser
1927-2008
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22 at East Line Street Cemetery for 45-year Bishop resident James “Jim” Keyser. Pastor Chris Costello will officiate.
Born in Pasadena on Jan. 31, 1927, Jim died April 13, 2008 at his home in Bishop. He was 81.
Jim moved to Bishop in 1963 to pursue his love of the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Keyser, who died in 1967, and also a stepson, Dennis, and stepdaughter, Pam.
Jim is survived by Bruce and Sherry Dishion of Bishop, seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Luis Roberto Lopez Pineda
1974-2008
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 18 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mammoth for 17-year Mammoth Lakes resident Luis Roberto Lopez Pineda. Father Andrew C. Dachauer will officiate. Interment will be at the East Line Street Cemetery in Bishop.
Born inâMexico on May 16, 1974, Luis died April 14, 2008 in Mono County. He was 33.
Luis is survived by his parents, Javier and Eusebia Lopez of Mammoth Lakes; brothers, Jesus and Jose Lopez of Elko, Nev.; and sisters, Sylvia Tapia and Julia Lopez of Mammoth Lakes.
Leonard Rudder
1923-2008
Private burial will be held for two-year Bishop resident Leonard Rudder.
Born in Beatrice, Neb. on May 29, 1923, Leonard died April 13, 2008 at the Bishop Care Center. He was 85.
Leonard served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a fan of stock car racing and loved to golf.
Leonard is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Nora Rudder, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. |
