Eve Askew
1941-2008
No services will be held for Eve Askew.
Born in San Diego on Oct. 5, 1941, Eve died Monday, April 7, 2008. She was 67.
Eve was a longtime resident of Keough’s Hot Springs. She loved the area and appreciated all the friends she made.
She was loved and will be missed.
Eve is survived by her son, Sommers Raye Ebright, and daughter, Rebecca Halon.
Eve’s body was donated to UC Davis for medical research. A memorial will be held for her each year in September.
Celestina Allison Chavez Nason
1973-2008
Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunland Cemetery in Bishop for Celestina Allison Chavez Nason.
Born Jan. 27, 1973, she died peacefully in her sleep on March 27, 2008 in Barstow.
Celestina was a diverse person with many interests and hobbies, but people were her favorite.
“Thank you, Creator, for blessing us with a person such as our Tina,” loved ones said.
Celestina was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Nason; grandfather, Raymond G. Kennedy; and great-uncle, Dewey Charles.
She is survived by her children, Andrew, Aaron and Isabella; her mom, Sheryle Shaw; sister, Marcy Quinones; and stepfather, Efrain Quinones, all of Barstow. |
