AltaOne Federal Credit Union in Lone Pine recently made a charitable contribution to local community associations thanks to its members.
Lenny Fath (l), of AltaOne’s Lone Pine Member Service Center, hands a check for $220 to Lone Pine Community Association affiliates. Photo submitted AltaOne was able to donate $220 to the Lone Pine Community Association through its Skip Pay program. Throughout the months of November and December, AltaOne allowed qualified members to skip loan or Visa payment for a $25 fee. A portion of that fee was then donated to the selected charity. “Through the generosity of our members, we have an opportunity to support numerous valuable programs. The Holiday Skip Pay campaign is a successful favorite of the membership for the direct benefit of the community,” said AltaOne’s President and CEO Robert M. Boland. With more than 44,000 members, and branches in Kern, Inyo, Mono and San Bernardino counties, AltaOne has more than $500 million in assets and serves its local communities throughout the year. |
