Residents got their first look on Monday at the interior of the new Department of Motor Vehicles office in Bishop. The new office of the DMV opened its doors for the first time at 11:15 a.m. and residents were eager to get their business done and check out the new facility after a two-day closure that allowed staff to relocate. The old DMV office on Main Street will be renovated to facilitate expanded operations for the California Highway Patrol. Photos by Mike Gervais
