Union Bank of Califoria has a new captain at the helm.
Moving up the ranks at Union Bank, D.J. Loyd, a 32-year veteran of the banking industry, has been named branch manager for Union Bank of California's Bishop office, located at 362 N. Main St.

In this role, she is responsible for supporting the bank's existing customer base in the area and developing new relationships with consumers and small businesses. Union Bank provides a wide range of banking services to consumers and small businesses, including business and home loans, safe deposit boxes and investment services.

Loyd most recently served as customer service manager at the Bishop office, serving in that capacity for the past seven years. She began working for Union Bank in 1996 as a customer service officer at the same branch. Loyd began her financial services career in 1975 with Bank of America, serving as assistant customer service manager for 20 years.
She is the current president of Altrusa International of the Eastern Sierra, Inc., an association of professionals who support projects for community betterment, and treasurer for the Bishop Saddle Club, which promotes horsemanship for area youth. Loyd also serves as a member of the Sierra Business Council and Inyo Associates. She resides in Bishop with her husband, Tom.
