Whatever’s Clever/Sierra Reader stayed on top of the Men’s Division of the Bishop Adult Softball League with a 9-5 win over West Bishop. Rapid fire bats and even faster defense kept West Bishop at bay through six-and-a-half innings.
Clever remains undefeated in the division at 7-0; West Bishop had been knocking on Clever’s door in second place but fell 4-2.

Two Bishop High grads have put their heads together and come up with the answer to sports trophies.
Design Your Ball, owned by former Bronco athlete Patrick Bustos with Bishop’s Jacki Kruse as the local sales manager, incorporates anything from a football to a home plate replica with personalized graphics, a unique and unbreakable memento for players and coaches.
In addition to the more traditional sports, hockey pucks, lacrosse and bowling balls are also customizable.
