After a non-start to their basketball season, the Bishop Broncos are off and running with wins over Mineral County on the road Tuesday.
Bishopâs home-opener against the Mojave Mustangs, scheduled for last Friday, was cancelled when U.S. 395 was closed to high-profile vehicles due to high winds.
The Lady Broncos are now 1-1, following a loss to the Div. 3A Burroughs Burros and a 51-35 win against the Serpents.
The Broncos beat the Serpents 49-42, a solid win for a young team.
