The past few days have been painfully quiet in terms of Owens Valley high school sports.
The Bishop Broncos’ match-up with the Mojave Mustangs, scheduled for this past Friday, was cancelled when high winds closed U.S. 395 to high-profile vehicles, which included the Mustangs’ bus.
The balance of area athletes were on the road honing their skills in tournament play.

Bishop’s basketball squads are on the road to Mineral County today. The end of this week, both varsity teams will be participating in tournament action.
