The Bishop girls and boys varsity Cross Country runners came away with improved times at the CIF Southern Section Cross Country Prelims, Saturday, Nov. 10 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
Nearly all the Bronco competitors shaved at least 30 seconds off of their individual times on the three-mile course since the Mt. SAC Invitational held three weeks ago.

No surprise. The Bishop Broncos destroyed the Desert Christian Knights, 49-7, in round one of the CIF football playoffs.
The Broncosâ offense was nothing short of spectacular, scoring 5 touchdowns in 10 plays, four in the first half, the fifth in the first 65 minutes of the second.
Eastern Sierra Rugby Club, Jacks
The Jacks kicked off their season with a Rookie Rugby Camp last Saturday, ending with a practice session of âtouch rugby.â For those interested in good, clean fun, new players are invited to the Jacksâ practice sessions, Tuesdays and Thursdays at the ballfields at Barlow and Diaz from 6-7:30 p.m.
