Fridayâs matches between Bishop and Rosamond did not end well for the Broncos.
The boys lost, 46-54; the girls fell in overtime, 42-45.
Both the varsity girls and boys played with intensity; they were simply out-fought, literally in the case of the girls, by the undefeated Roadrunners.
The Broncos played well enough to win, but fell short in the last quarter with a 46-54 final score.
âWeâve played our two best games (against Rosamond and Kern Valley) but still come away with two losses,â said coach Jon Michener. âWeâre improving but we need a win.â

The Warriors delivered the first league defeat for the Tigers with a 38-37 win.
The Lady Warriors rallied from a 19-point deficit but couldnât catch up, recording a 41-35 loss.
The Warriorsâ win came down to the wire. Coach Darrin Chirrick put his squad in stall mode for the last 4-5 minutes of play.
