Scheduled for Thursday, June 16 at 6 p.m., in the middle of the California High School Rodeo Associationâs state finals week at the Tri-County Fairgrounds, the Special Rodeo focuses on giving cowboys and cowgirls with special needs a chance to compete in modified rodeo events.
The CHSRAâs Special Rodeo allows high school rodeo athletes to work one on one with children in a rodeo where all contestants become champions.
More than 290 runners registered for the 18th annual Bishop High Sierra Ultra-marathons, held on May 21, beginning and finishing at the Millpond Recreational Park.
