Robert Clay Calhoun
1915-2013
Robert Clay Calhoun died at his daughter, Betty O’Neil’s home, in Bishop on Feb. 4, 2013. He was 97 years old.
Robert spent the majority of his wonderful life photographing nature in the Eastern Sierra. He loved fall colors, hiking and tennis.
Robert Calhoun is now resting peacefully with his beloved wife of 76 years, Clara.
He is survived by his sister, two daughters, grand- and great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A private burial will be held at Mono Cemetery in Lee Vining.

Greg Allen Brown
1953-2013
Born May 10, 1953 in Glendale, longtime Owens Valley resident Gregory Allen Brown died at home with family on Jan. 28, 2013. He was 59.
Greg moved to the Owens Valley with his family in 1954 and continued to reside in Bishop for 58 years.
He worked as a roofer and as a contractor for 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and artist who blended his Indian heritage into his artwork. He enjoyed a close relationship with his children and was a proud grandfather.

Tracy Edna Webster
1960-2013
Tracy Edna Webster, age 52, resident of Bishop for 35 years, born in Ridgecrest on Oct. 28, 1960, passed away Jan. 27, 2013 peacefully at home with family.
Tracy moved to the Owens Valley in 1978 where she met her husband of 30 years, Danny. Tracy worked as a dental assistant for 29 years. She was a loving mother and wife.
She is survived by husband, Danny; their children, Danielle (Cubby) and grandson, Rylan, and Brooke (Richard); parents, Earl and Edna Powers; and many nieces and nephews.

Janice E. Groff (Sweger)
1937-2013
Janice Groff, 75, passed away peacefully following a long illness on Jan. 15, 2013 in Brea.
Janice was born May 15, 1937 to Lewis E. Sweger and Eunice (Dixie) Bright in Mojave. Three years later her brother, Larry Paul Sweger followed. Janice’s childhood years were spent in and around the Lone Pine/Big Pine area with countless hours spent at the family’s silver mines. This began her lifelong love of rocks, minerals, geodes, science and nature and her collection of antique purple glass.
Mary Ann ‘Sunshine’ Billingsley-Moore
1956-2013
Mary Ann “Sunshine” Billingsley-Moore passed Jan. 14, 2013 at the age of 56 at the Hospice of Kitsap from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). She loved all who came to visit her in her last days and hours.
Mary Ann was born on July 3, 1956 to Colonel (Cricket) and Martha Billingsley of Chico. The family later moved to Chalfant.
