Ralph Voetberg
1927-2010
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church at 105 N. Mt. Whitney Dr. in Lone Pine for Ralph Voetberg.
Born July 25, 1927 in La Grande, Ore., Ralph died at the Bishop Care Center on Oct. 10, 2010, after suffering a severe stroke on Father’s Day, June 20, 2010. He was 83.
Don Redmon
1922-2010
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for former Bishop resident Donald Everett Redmon of Mountain Home, Ark.
Born Sept. 25, 1922 in Santa Rosa, Donald died Oct. 13, 2010. He was 88.
Don and his wife Jaylyle relocated from Bishop to Mountain Home in 2003.

Ruth Alice Nielsen
1938-2010
Memorial services for Ruth Alice Nielsen will be held some time around Thanksgiving. The time and date will be announced at a later date.
Born April 5, 1938 in Chicago, Ill., Ruth died Oct. 10, 2010.

Mildred Lorine Eggers Bopp
1915-2010
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, Mo. for Mildred Lorine Eggers Bopp. Mildred’s remains will be laid to rest beside those of her late husband at St. Lucas Cemetery in Sappington, Mo.
Born Sept. 20, 1915, Mildred died peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 in Moraga with two of her children at her bedside, 15 days after celebrating her 95th birthday.

Lewis Thomas ‘Tom’ Miners
1936-2010
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday at the Bishop Christian Center for former Big Pine resident Lewis Thomas “Tom” Miners.
Born on February 15, 1936, in Ishpeming, Mich. to Allyvion and Signa (Oust) Miners, Tom died Oct. 1st, 2010, at home with his family in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He was 74.

Linda ‘Susie’ Zucco

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Independence Cemetery for lifetime Lone Pine resident Linda “Susie” Zucco. A cry dance ceremony will be held from 9 p.m.-midnight Friday, Oct. 8 at the Lone Pine Paiute-Shoshone Community Center at 975 Teya Rd. in Lone Pine.
Born Feb. 28, 1950 in Lone Pine, Linda died Oct. 3, 2010 in Bishop. She was 60.

Thornton Jay ‘T.J.’ Marker
1922-2010
Private burial services will take place at Santa Barbara Cemetery in Santa Barbara for 17-plus-year Bishop resident Thornton Jay “T.J.” Marker.
Born in Long Beach on Sept. 4, 1922, T.J. died Sept. 6, 2010 at Northern Inyo Hospital from complications of diabetes. He was 88.
Polly Leah Brown Cox
1936-2010
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the West Line Street Cemetery for Polly Leah Brown Cox.
Born in her home in Round Valley on July 14, 1936, Polly died Oct. 1, 2010 in Bishop. She was 74. Polly attended school in Bishop, graduating from Bishop Union High School.
She was married to Milton Cox for almost 50 years until his death in 2009.
C.P. ‘Rocky’ Stone
1918-2010
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Bishop for C.P. “Rocky” Stone. Pastor Peter Thomsen will officiate.
Born May 28, 1918 in Irvine, Orange County, one of eight children to Ralph and Jennie Stone, Rocky died of natural causes Oct. 2, 2010 at the Bishop Care Center. He was 92.

Joe Leland Snoderly
1948-2010
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22 at the Bishop Christian Center for longtime Bishop resident Joe Leland Snoderly.
Born June 13, 1948 in Waynesville, Mo. to Roy and Willene Snoderly, Joe died Sept. 23, 2010 at Renown Medical Center in Reno from complications of open heart surgery. He was 62.
