Memorial services were held Friday at the First Presbyterian Church in Bishop for Harold “Hal” W. Johnson.
Born Dec. 16, 1919 in Mt. Vernon, Mo. to Fred and Helen Johnson, the second of ten children, Harold died Wednesday, April 27, 2010 in Bishop. He was 91.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5 at the East Line Street Cemetery in Bishop for 47-year Inyo County resident Ray Bocanegra. Father John Gracey will officiate.
Born Aug. 31, 1931 in Colton, Ray died April 27, 2011 in Round Valley. He was 79.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday May 5 at the Church of the Nazarene in Bishop for Catherine “Kitty” Louise Walden. All who knew and loved Kitty are welcome to join in remembering her.
Born Aug. 3, 1919 in London, England, Catherine Louise Walden, or Kitty, as most knew her, died at the Bishop Care Center on Saturday April 23, 2011. She was 91.
Jeannine Ellen Brown

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 at the East Line Street Cemetery in Bishop for Jeannine Ellen Brown.
Born Joe Ellen Drury on April 24, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Okla., Jeannine died April 23, 2011 at the Bishop Care Center. She was one day shy of turning 82.

Mildred Mary Roberts
1906-2011
No funeral services have been announced for five-year Bishop resident Mildred Mary Roberts.
Born Aug. 31, 1906 in Nebraska, Mildred died April 20, 2011 at the Bishop Care Center. She was 104.
Mildred loved gardening.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Louise Roberts of Chalfant Valley; and grandchildren, Donald Roberts of Bishop and Lora Roberts of Chalfant Valley.
Robbie Perry Smith
1949-2011
A celebration of life for Mammoth resident Robbie Perry Smith is planned for 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at the McGee Creek Inn on Crowley Lake Drive.
Born Nov. 22, 1949 in Hollywood to Helen Beuscher and Robert C. Smith, Robbie died Sunday, April 10, 2011 from complications of a long-standing illness.
His illness could not diminish his kind, funny and generous spirit. Robbie’s sweet nature and gentle personality will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
James Michael Shoshone

Born Dec. 28, 1970 in Shurz, Nev. to Marion Spratt and Benny Shoshone, James died Saturday, April 16 in Big Pine.
Warren LeRoy Morefield

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Independence Cemetery for 45-year Inyo County resident Warren LeRoy Morefield. Pastor Erin McPhee will officiate.
Born June 11, 1921 in St. Louis, Mo. to Arthur and Francis Morefield, Warren died April 10, 2011 at Sterling Heights in Bishop. He was 89.
Warren moved to Los Angeles with his mother, father and brother, Lloyd, during the Depression.
