Helen B. Trust, 91, a resident of Bishop for 30 years who was born in Pasadena on June 5, 1922, passed away Nov. 18, 2013 at Northern Inyo Hospital.
Helen was an executive secretary in Fullerton prior to retiring with her husband Dale in Bishop. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all who had the pleasure to know her.
She is survived by her husband Dale; son and daughter, Dan and Susie; three grandchildren, Tyler, John and Sandi; and her beloved pugs, Freddie and Ricky.
Lora Merle Seguine
Lora Merle Seguine, born March 26, 1923 in Rigby, Idaho to Charles Herbert and Ethel Burt Berger, passed away peacefully surrounded by her six children on Nov. 21, 2013.
Carol Ann Worabel
Carol was a simple woman who lived a simple life, and was a genuine friend to all.
She is survived by her husband, Steve; daughter, Sunny; son, Tim; and grandchildren, Roman, Danny, Josh, Jeff, Jetta, Summer and Shanae. Also her lovely animals, dog, Jitterbug and bird, Lieko.
â€śHootsieâ€™sâ€ť best of times were in the Eastern Sierra, where she worked at Brownâ€™s Town with the Brownâ€™s family. She loved walking her dog QP along Pole Line Road.
Lois Emma (Lloyd) Pahlow
Lois Emma Lloyd was born Jan. 11, 1933 in Glassport, Penn. to William and May Lloyd. She moved with her parents to Fontana in 1946 and then to Van Nuys in 1947, where she attended Van Nuys High School and met her future husband Robert G. Pahlow. They were married on Nov. 25, 1950 in Las Vegas.
Lois worked for Pacific Telephone in the San Fernando Valley for 19 years and then she and her husband moved to Bishop, where they lived for 18 years. While living in Bishop she worked for Continental Telephone and the City of Bishop.
Gail Alexine David WhiteBear
Gail entered eternal peace Friday, Nov. 15, 2013. Gail was born May 24, 1952 to Alexander and Geraldine David in San Carlos, Ariz. She leaves her memories to be cherished by her father, Alexander David; beloved sisters, Beverly David, Jean Bengochia, Charlotte David, Ruth David and Margorie David; brother, Daniel David, her three daughters, Beverly Havel, Mavis Lambright and Victoria WhiteBear; as well as her six adoring grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
Mary Trim, known to her family and close friends as â€śTweety,â€ť was born on Feb. 28, 1945 and grew up in North Carolina. Tweety heroically fought a battle with her lungs over the last three years. She never gave up, rarely complained and maintained a brave outlook for the future even with countless trips to the hospital, respiratory treatments and tons of daily medications. Tweety loved nothing more than being with her husband, children and grandchildren. They were the light of her life and the wind beneath her wings.
Carol Bronson Schoenmeier
Carol Bronson Schoenmeier went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 20, 2013.
Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years, Henry Schoenmeier, Jr.; her mother, Earline Bronson; three children, Coleen (Mark) MacDowell, Dennis (Jeannie) Schoenmeier and Carla (James) Moore; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Irene Johnson Maron
Irene Johnson Maron, age 91, passed peacefully in her sleep Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, the 25th anniversary of the death of her husband Pete. They are now resting together.
Irene was born in Los Angeles on March 12, 1922 to her Swedish parents, Linus Johnson and Esther Sandeen Johnson. Irene was a bilingual child, speaking both Swedish and English. Musically gifted, Irene began piano instruction at an early age. The piano was to be a life-long passion.
Barbara Jill Grove
Barbara Jill Grove, 73, of Big Pine, passed away on Nov. 2, 2013 after a courageous battle with liver disease. She was born to the late Jean Durston and Irving Grove, on June 16, 1940, in Martinez. Jill graduated from Los Medanos College and received a B.A. in Science in 1983. She lived in the Walnut Creek and Concord areas before retiring to beautiful Big Pine in 2003.
