High Country Lumber picked up its game Monday evening smashing 10 hits in the final two innings in a match-up with Native Mixed.
HC pulled off a 12-6 win, improving its standings in the city’s Adult Softball League, A/B Coed Division. The divison’s championship tournament starts up Tuesday, Aug. 7.
Native Mixed established the lead going into the second inning, but not enough of a margin to overcome HC’s late inning rally. The deciding factor was HC’s razor sharp defense.
