Bradley E. Stevens
1956-2011
Bradley Earl Stevens died Sept. 9, 2011, with family at his side. He was 54.
Bradley was a resident of Bend, Ore., but had been staying with family in Washougal, Wash. while undergoing cancer treatment.
He was born the fourth of six children on Dec. 9, 1956 in Glendale to Leslie and Ruby Stevens.
He was preceded in death by his father.

This month and particularly this Saturday is being dedicated to appreciating first responders and law enforcement, as well as putting public safety in the spotlight.
October is National Fire Safety Month, the week of Oct. 9-15 is Fire Prevention Week and Saturday is being called Law Enforcement Appreciation Day by organizers in Bishop who have planned a weekend of fun at the Bishop City Park and at the Kmart store and parking lot.

The lights are bright, the acting superb, the story is engaging – then a singer’s microphone picks up the hum of a fax machine from the neighboring office, or the sound is too loud in one seat yet inaudible in another, or the sound goes out all together. These are some of the problems the local theater company, Playhouse 395, has had to deal with in what have been widely declared flawless productions otherwise.
It seems a solution has been found thanks to a $60,000 grant for a new sound system courtesy of the local Deininger Foundation.
